A Native of the Rio Grande Valley, Sandy has been pursuing acting for over 15 years while practicing criminal law. She discovered her love for performing as a child in school plays, programs and talent shows, but it wasn't until she began performing with the Emmy-Nominated Latino Comedy Project in 2005 that she got an opportunity to hone her skills in and practice her craft in front of live audiences. Those experiences would prove invaluable in all aspects of her life and make her realize she still harbored that passion and wanted to pursue acting as a career - something as a migrant farm worker in her childhood she assumed was not an option. Thankfully, she grew up and dared to do something about it.
